The only reason WE found out about it is because we have a friend in Vancouver who was reading up on what was getting scheduled for the various ceremonies--and the GBS site posted it on the news page as they found out about it about the same time I did apparently! I'm pretty sure though that it didn't go out on the newsletter because the tickets sold very, VERY quickly, snapped up by all the folks who were there for the actual Olympics. ;)
