Yeah. Dara and I were trying to count how many actual movies or TV shows they yoinked footage from. And although they looked kinda cheesy from some angles, Brad Pitt and Vin Diesel did seem rather apt "casting". Hee!

If you're talking about the ones mentioned here, the mini-series done in 2003 (and which therefore aren't really 'new'), then yes, I saw bits of those. I wasn't impressed enough to look for it in earnest.

That was an excellent call, yeah! Though I was more impressed by Vin Diesel as Panthro, who was disturbingly spot on, especially vocally. And Brad Pitt for Lion-O clicked as soon as we saw his teeth. ;)

Oh wow. I can has nostalgia! But agreed, this is pretty cool and creative in the way the segments are clipped together. Also agreement about Vin D. - spot on.

Brought back a bunch of nostalgia for me too, I loved me some Thundercats when I was a teenager. <3 And I am very impressed by the editing job the guy did, not to mention the Photoshop work.
