Date: 2008-11-19 08:34 pm (UTC)Just looked up the Wikipedia page for the new flick. New Boy playing Kirk has been quoted as saying he's looked to Harrison Ford for inspiration. Okay, if he's inspired by Ford, he just got a few more points in my book. ;) (And this also answers the question of 'how do you play Kirk without channeling Shatner?')
'Cause really, as long as they get Kirk, Spock, and Bones reasonably correct, they can rearrange everything else in the movie as far as I'm concerned!
