How a skinny guy like Murray can open his mouth and unleash thunder always amazes and delights me as well.
I remember asking a question in the same vein of our second-chair trumpet player in high school... a slight girl of maybe 95lbs, who could *almost* keep up with the first chair, who was pushing 300lbs.... "Allison, how do you get enough air to blow the horn like that?" "Practice. :)" But, yeah, the basso profundo was pretty amazing... I'm ever so slightly envious :)
