And yeah, we apparently left before the brouhaha with the shooting! To wit, massive relief there. Dara and I read the full article that went up about that on seattletimes.com, and saw that the dude apparently was being a jackass during a fight he was having and whipped out his gun with the intention to pistolwhip the guy he was fighting with, only to have it go off. Hopefully they'll yank his concealed carry permit. Permanently. You pull that kind of stupidity at a festival, you do not get to carry a weapon.
