Date: 2008-05-27 05:30 am (UTC)(Though I'd kind of buy that given the era of the plot, if Mutt were only a bit younger. I still don't buy it as a chosen name for a kid who's trying very, very hard to cultivate that biker look. 'Mutt'? Not exactly intimidating as a name.
On the other hand, the boy clearly is way more of a nerd than he likes to admit, so it may well be that that's his concept of a 'cool' name, I guess.)
