This is, indeed, the best possible news I could have gotten--since it'll mean as far as I can guess that all that has to happen next is some surgical cleanup. I'll know more when my surgeon's office calls me back and we arrange for proper followup. But hopefully this'll be the last of any big curveballs! :)
