There's been some form of crud going around the floor at work--it had two of our engineers out sick for the earlier half of this week, and our engineering lead went home early feeling poorly as well. spazzkat reported a sore throat earlier this week too.

Now it appears to be my turn. I had an alarming coughing fit yesterday afternoon at work and felt weird for the rest of the day after. Went to bed very early after taking a hot bath, but slept quite poorly, and woke up once feeling very hot and another time feeling quite shivery.

This sucks. Whatever this is, it had better be gone by Norwescon next week.

It's been going around this area too... I had it for a week, sore throat, icky head crud where my head feels like a football, runny nose, persistent cough, etc. yea... loads of fun... good thing the temporary dismissal from work came when it did, or i woulda been fired anyway for missing so much work (can't do much good on a telephone marketing job when one has no voice.) hope ya feel better soon.

Thanks much! Yeah, the one consolation I have here is that it's happening this weekend rather than next, when Norwescon happens. I'm just hoping this'll be out of my system by then.
