hehe Someone forgot to proof the text when they copied and pasted from the Blue Rodeo site re. the calendar. No trouble to tell that the same company is managing both online communities. I had no idea this calendar was even in the works. That's what I get for not going to the OKP anymore. I was lucky enough to get some of my photos in the 2004 and 2006 Blue Rodeo calendars though. :D

*laughs!* I noticed that Blue Rodeo thing, yeah. If they don't fix it in the next day or two, clearly I shall have to send in a bug report! (As if I don't have ENOUGH web QA to do at work... hee!)

And heck, this came over the greatbigsea.com mailing list--which is good, because I rarely pop into the OKP anymore myself, thanks to all my time getting eaten by writing. ;)

I'm on the mailing list and got the info that it was for sale but I missed the pre-buzz and call for photo submissions et al. Not that I took any photos of GBS this year. Didn't bring my camera to the Arts & Culture Centre show in March, despite beign front row centre. :s

I visit the site daily (or almost daily) and this is the first I'm hearing about the calendar. I'm not sure they asked people to submit photos. They may have asked folks individually after seeing things that were posted.

That said...eeeeeeeeeeeeee!! The mister will just have to deal with staring at the b'ys all next year :D

Well, they did have a thing going a while back where they were inviting fans to send in photos during the last tour--so I could easily see their staffers slipping notes to the various fan photographers asking if they could be used officially, yeah. Pretty cool all around. :D

*nodnod* I'm not sure if there was a call for photo submissions--unless such a call was issued to the folks who sent in tour photos while the last tour was going on. But anyway! I'll totally be buying this calendar. :D
