It's funny, but there are certain roles I LOVE Russell Crowe in, and others where he has no effect on me. In Gladiator and Mystery, Alaska he was SO sexy, yet I didn't have the same feeling for L.A. Confidential or A Beautiful Mind. I like him when he's a little scruffy, tough, etc. And that voice, like gravel in a velvet bag.... a little bit of heaven!
