*giggle* Okay, now, I gotta debate with you about Marcus--'cause one of the many reasons that Raiders stands tall for me as the jewel of the Indy trilogy is that Marcus is not in fact an idiot in that film. :) (Now that said, I did like Indy's snarking in Last Crusade--"he got lost in his own museum!")

*BEAM* I love the entire Indy/Marion scene on the boat. "Well goddammit, Indy, where doesn't it hurt?" "HERE!"

And yeah, the fire scene in Last Crusade is gold. :D To that I must also add the look on Henry Sr.'s face when Indy comes groping over the clifftop, his squeezing the life out of his boy, and then Indy falling over *flump* on the sand. "What're you doing sitting there resting when we're so near the end?"

EVIL NAZI MONKEY! EVIL NAZI MONKEY! Clearly a soul-brother to the Undead Pirate Monkey of the current era! ;D And the catalyst for some of the best Indy/Marion banter as well! "He loved you like a son. It took a hell of a lot for you to alienate him." "Not much, just YOU."

And oh my yes, the squee of River Phoenix. How well he channelled Mr. Ford was downright spooky!

Some more faves of mine:

Okay, fine, Temple of Doom gets points for Indy being completely shirtless. ;)

The entire truck chase sequence at the climax of Raiders, but in particular, the look on Indy's face as he looks into both side mirrors and sees the soldiers coming along the truck, and that little "unh!" oh-shit noise he lets out.

Indy! On! A! Horse! In both Raiders AND Last Crusade. :D

Oh my dear gods suntanned windblown Indy on Sallah's verandah... *swoon*

The crooked little grin on Marion's face as she pulls back out of her haze during the drinking contest, and proceeds to drink the humongous guy across from her under the table.

And I'll meet and match your Indy fangirlishness over the TV show by my having all the Indy novels!
