annathepiperAround 1:05pm or so Pacific time, folks, it seems that the Murkworks suffered a power outage. This took down our server core, and is why we currently do not have MUSH, web, or mail services up and running right now. No ETA yet on when we'll be back online. solarbird nor I are at home right now, but spazzkat has instructions on how to bring the servers back online when the power is restored.

ETA 1:55pm: We're back! Paul reports that a truck hit a utility pole at the bottom of the hill and that Dara drove by it on her way out. Yowza. Paul also says there is a possibility that we may go down again (if they're working on restoring the pole), but if that happens we'll be down until Dara gets home. Watch this space for further updates.
