I don't know if this has gone around Livejournal before, but I had to share this link of what is, hands down, the biggest effing bunny rabbit I have ever laid eyes on. I mean, damn. We're talking Night of the Lepus here. We're talking Curse of the Were-Rabbit. If the moon is no longer full, will this bunny turn back into a German guy named Dieter?

Yeah, the feet especially impressed me, sticking out in the full version of the picture with the article! I think those feet alone may be bigger than my cat.

Freaky! I saw a pic the other day of some giant UK bunny which was not this one, so I guess there are some that big. I wonder if they'd ever allow giant bunnies as pets in the US or if they'd be afraid of them getting in the wild and eating up crops?

Apparently there's a name for this breed--the German Giant. I can't find anything about it on Wikipedia, though!
