I have the vexing feeling that I am fighting something off. I've been having a bit of a cough the last couple of days, and I've got that slightly off-kilter feeling you get when you're not actually sick but you might be if your system gets more strain on it. Something's going around the workplace, too. I've heard some disturbing-sounding coughing going on around these parts, and one of our devs was out sick yesterday. Here's hoping this doesn't tackle me. While I'd like to stay home curled up under my snuggly fleece-and-flannel blanket, being sick would probably take me out of my writing groove, and that would Suck.

I've started Charlaine Harris' Shakespeare's Champion, an earlier book in her Lily Bard series of mysteries. More on this later.

And Altan's Local Ground is now on the To Buy list. Woot!

Get the hence to a Trader Joe's or someplace else that sells vitamin C by the jar in crystalline form. 1/4 tsp. is 1000mg. Stir 6000mg into a glass of juice or citrus-based tea and add a little extra of whatever you use sweeten your drinks in order to tone down the sourness. Do this every day until you stop feeling ucky. I haven't had a cold or the flu in over five years. I do this every time I feel even the faintest niggle of illness and it kicks the crap out of it. :)

If you do end up coming down with something, I recommend any of the various Zicam cold remedies. They're zinc laden and really work.

Hope you're feeling better soon, sweetie! *hugs*

Sounds like how my last cold started. Hope you don't get anything like that.
