Are the B'ys of Great Big Sea TRYING to torture me? A contest to have an Actual Kitchen Party with the Actual Members of Great Big Sea, the stuff of several of my LITERAL dreams? AIGH! See my bouzouki? See my guitar? See how forlorn they're looking just at the mere thought that somebody who is not ME might get to do this?
I'll sit over here and passionately wish I lived in Vancouver now. All of you Canadian GBS fans on my Friends list, if ANY of you get to do this, try to break it to me gently so I don't keel over from envy, okay? ;)
ETA: Does the GBS management realize how many former members of Three Good Measures would KILL for the chance to have a Kitchen Party with them? I mean, hells bells, we DID do a pretty damned decent job with Mari-Mac and General Taylor and Jolly Butcher, if I do say so myself, even four years after the fact! Sniff! Stupid too far away Canada!

Date: 2006-01-19 05:11 am (UTC)(Okay, fine, I only know about twelve songs, half of which are theirs, but I play pretty decent rhythm guitar! ;) )
GBS management must be conspiring with my cruel, cruel subconscious which always tempts me with the possibility of jamming with the B'ys, but always makes me WAKE UP before I get to them!
