A quick one

As expected, a pretty much quiet day at work. I puttered my way through regressing a bunch of bugs, many of which had been open and un-dealt with for over half a year. I need to whittle 'em down to the set of bugs I need to ask questions about, and hopefully that won't be too many.

I've started re-reading Dorothy Sayers' Murder Must Advertise, just because I've got my own copy now and I wanted to brush up on what happened in it before I move on to the next Sayers I haven't read yet. More on this later.

Mostly, today's highlight has been (as posted earlier), the opening up of my shiny new writing journal. Go read the earlier post if you haven't seen it already, for details.

Tomorrow I have my next checkup with my endoc, and tomorrow, spazzkat returns from Virginia. Yay!

I love the Peter Wimsey tales. They're more character studies and puzzle stories than murder mysteries.

Yeah, that's part of why I like them. :) Peter is a fabulous character, and so are Harriet Vane and the recurring supporting ones, like Parker and Peter's sister Jane. Murder Must Advertise was the first one I read, and it made a very strong impression--it was the one that got me reading the series from start to end.
