Longest Night!

So as of this posting,cow and mamishka are visiting us for Longest Night this evening. kathrynt joined us as well, to help us do the Birthday Thing for Paul. Loot was given, cake was brought out, birthday honors were sung. And then Scrabble was played, and a bit of anime has been watched, as well as Strongbad videos on solarbird's computer. Cow may be having to scamper off as he's got to work on the morrow.
Me, I also have to work on the morrow and am genuinely unsure whether I will manage to stay up all evening. I'm pretty sure I'll have to try to sleep at least a bit, because I do still need to work and I need to be coherent. So I may have to take a nap in the very middle of the night and have the alarm get me up before sunrise.
