For those of you who don't regularly follow lj_maintenance, this post talks about how they've finally found some more of the problems behind the failure of comment mails to be sent out. They think they've fixed it, finally, so old comment mail may be finally showing up in folks' mailboxes. Go check the link for details.

I'm still missing a couple of emails from *today*. I can't figure out why some of them get through and others don't.

Damned if I can tell. It can't be a question of comments living on a hosting journal's server, I'd think, because I've had recent threads where I got some but not all of the comments.

I got ONE three-week old comment last night. The rest of them are still floating around out there somewhere.

I noticed that I wasn't getting comments from specific people, even today.

I've gotten two really old comments today.

I've had three or four trickle in at this point. Sounds like the backlog is very, VERY slowly shaking itself loose.

Me too. And I'm getting some comments from specific people and not others *from the same people*. So I don't know WHAT they're doing down there.

The problem seems to have eased up at least a little by now--I'm getting most of my comment emails in a timely fashion, and the ones that delay are staggering in after less than a day.
