New agent at Firebrand

Several of you on my Friends list already read agentobscura's journal, but for those of you who do not, she posts that Firebrand Literary has taken on a new associate agent, Lauren Barnholdt.

Quote: "She's looking for Middle Grade/Young Adult (any kind, but especially girl-centric), Women's Fic and Chicklit, Humor and a distinctive voice are a plus. If you'd like to be considered, please send her a e-query letter about your project. If she's interested, she'll respond and request a partial or more material."

Oh excellent! I am working on a book about a young woman looking for the perfect man, centered around the teen market. Now...about this writter's block I have, lol.

Glad to be of service! As for writer's block--I've been wrestling with that all week myself. Best things I can suggest are either giving yourself a few days off to let your brain refresh itself and do something that has nothing to do with writing, OR go and work on another project, OR just do your level best to write at least some ridiculously small number of words. Like, say, twenty. All of these things seem to help me stagger through blocks at different times.
