I think there might be a weird layout issue of some kind, some difference between Opera and Firefox. The color you're talking about I think is actually the background color I've currently got plugged in for the title and date bars on various posts and not actually anything to do with the navigation toolbar.

When I look at a post of mine in Firefox, that toolbar actually shows up after that bar... but if I look at it in Opera, then it's nested within it. So clearly there's some sort of difference in how the two browsers handle the CSS. IE behaves the same way Firefox does.

I'll have to tweak it some more, clearly.
