Ordinary Day

Little bridges, or bridges over ravines, don't bother me nearly so much. It's the whole "large body of water" thing that twigs me, I think--e.g., Lake Washington, or when I was younger, the Ohio River.

Going across a bridge on foot or on my bike doesn't bug me nearly so much. I think maybe it's because part of my brain wigs out about the idea of being in a car or other vehicle, being unable to get out, and drowning.
