All I know is, the Sci-Fi channel starts broadcasting Season 2 tonight. :) Does it run on the Space channel for y'all? (That's the right channel, right? I seem to recollect seeing that when I was up in Toronto for Worldcon.)

It does run on Space, yes (http://www.spacecast.com - their website's pretty cool), but alas, not yet.

I'm currently debating the ethics of downloading it if I plan to watch it when it airs anyway.

Aw, bugger! Were y'all in sync with the Sci-Fi channel for season 1? Hopefully it won't take too long for season 2 to get aired up there.

If you're going to watch it when it airs anyway, I'd say don't download it (yet)--if nothing else just because if the file is on your computer, you lose the surprise and fun of watching it when it airs. And if the file is on your computer, it WILL tempt you to watch it. ;)

BSG's season 1 was certainly quite rewatchable. I have seen many of the episodes multiple times. I expect nothing less of season 2!
