... and that is being able to post a coherent musical question about one of their songs, and actually having one of them answer you.

Okay folks, I've been trying to think of something else fun and entertaining to ask the musicgeeks around here, and I finally remembered something else to ask -- so this is for any of you folks with guitars and a good ear. Let's talk "David". Key of D, and a lot of D, G, and A in the slow intro at the beginning, and as we all know it starts off like this...

How many people have the same name?
How many Davids do you know?
What's the measurement on thinking the same thing?
What's the chance they'd ever know?
What's the chance they'd ever know?

Right at this point here, I've been trying to figure out what the chords are doing. It _sounds_ like the guitars are suddenly kicking a minor chord in there somehow and I can't figure out how!

Anybody wanna enlighten me so's Ragamuffin and I can have some fun with this? :)

anna, the problem in figureing out this song may lie in the fact that it is played in a 'D' tuning with 'slide' so open chords won't sound as full but the passing chord you search for is an 'F' major. tuning is D,A,D,F#,A,D. play it open, then barr at fret 5 and 7, F is barr at 3. or in standard tuning just use an 'F' chord. hope this helps. all my love, Deano.

What a NICE Billy he is! There's reasons he's my second favorite Grunt. ;)
