Things Which Are Quite Amusingly Weird

Hearing Harrison Ford with a Russian accent in the trailer for his upcoming movie! After years and years and years of watching Ford flicks in which he always plays rugged Amurkin boys, I had pretty much decided this man really wasn't one for playing non-American roles, but in K-19 he's going to be Russian! And unlike Sean Connery, he does seem to at least be making an attempt at an accent. mamishka and I agree that for the amusement value of this alone, we're going to have to go see this flick.

And in other amusing news

We had a hell of a jam today and even managed to get another public take. The MP3 is not yet ready, but I posted the jam report anyway, just to get it done and because I've been horribly late posting the durned things as of late anyway.

Also, solarbird has been watching a lot of Captain Scarlet since mamishka brought us the DVD set of the whole show, and I have been finding it growing on me. I think what sold me is finding out that the agents of Spectrum all actually have real names in addition to their code names -- and Captain Scarlet's name is in fact Paul. Hehehehe!
